summer time fun in oregon! when we first moved to oregon everyone said summer doesn't start until after the 4th of july!! we didn't believe them - but, really it doesn't start until after the 4th of july here. that doesn't stop our kids! if it's sunny out they think it's water time! doesn't matter if it's only 60 degrees!! brrr.....

UPDATE!

The Hardin Family is alive and well!! :-) We've been off the blogging grid for so long I've forgotten what to do. So.....as most of you know we have relocated to Oregon and had a baby - who is now a toddler!! Time goes by so fast. Dr. Dave happily "retired" from trauma surgery and left his private practice in California. He pursued an opportunity in Oregon that allows him to have as "normal" a life as possible for a general surgeon. I'm happy to report it's working out beautifully as he is home almost every night for dinner. Our three little monkeys are growing like weeds. Matthew just finished Pre-K and will be starting Kindergarten in the Fall. Luke will start a 3's class two days a week in the fall, also. Matthew played soccer and t.ball this year. He LOVED soccer and is really good at it. He starts a soccer camp next week training with the Portland Timbers (our professional team!). Both he and Luke are enrolled in various summer camps and swim lessons. Little Kate is in constant motion following her two BIG brothers around. She is so sweet and says "yes, please mommy!" anytime you ask her something. So SWEET. We went to DC this past year and had a great time. This summer we have lots of beach time planned, however, we would love to host many friends in Oregon - so pack you bags and come visit.
